Ford WindstarIntroduced in the mid-1990s, the front-wheel-drive Ford Windstar minivan campaigned with an emphasis on, and reputation for, safety. And in the hotly contested family minivan market of the time, that was an especially solid piece of ground to be on. As long as buyers didn't need to haul adults in back on a regular basis, the Windstar served a family's needs just fine.
I am new to this forum but am hoping someone out there can help me. I have a 02 windstar that has had some issues with the driv side frt window not going up or down. I had that fixed and then the psgr side frt window stopped working. The cluster lights would stay on then go off and then sometimes the ABS light would stay on and the next time the van was started it would go out. Now both frt windows aren't working and the lights on the dashboard will flicker from time to time. The back windows work perfect. I have checked fuses, relays and have recently replaced the alt and batt. Does anyone have an idea of what could be wrong? I haven't checked the window motors yet and plan to do so this weekend. Is it normal for the windows to just quit?
