 Door Mirror Help
My wife recently whacked the passenger side door mirror on our 2003 Windstar off on a construction barrel. Unfortunately, it's a heated, power mirror with signal flash and memory. I've checked aftermarket like Rock Auto but nobody has it with all the features. Also checked the junkyards and nobody has found one even with a national parts search. The Ford dealer wants $372 for a new one.
Can I use a power heated or power heated with signal flash in its place (screw the memory)? Are the connectors the same for these types or different housings? Or anyone know a source where I could find a new or junk one more reasonably priced? BTW, she damaged the whole thing, so I can't replace just the glass. Appreciate any suggestions. Thanks. |
