Ford Windstar Introduced in the mid-1990s, the front-wheel-drive Ford Windstar minivan campaigned with an emphasis on, and reputation for, safety. And in the hotly contested family minivan market of the time, that was an especially solid piece of ground to be on. As long as buyers didn't need to haul adults in back on a regular basis, the Windstar served a family's needs just fine.

Cool 02 windstar lifters tick when cold

when you start it up the lifters tick,as the engine heats up it seams to be quieter.I PURCHASED A PRODUCT TO FLUSH ENGINE BY GUNK,SO I DRAINED THE OIL TOOK OFF THE CAP ANOTICED OIL WAS PRETTY SLUGGISH.THEY RECOMEND TO RUN FLUSH THROUGH ENGINE FOR 5-MIN MAX THEN CHANGE OIL.DO I HAVE TO DROP THE PAN AND REPLACE SEAL?IN ORDER TO CLEAN IT WELL?OR DO YOU RECOMEND A DIFFRENT APPROACH?

What grade of oil have you been putting into the engine when you change it?
