Ford Windstar Introduced in the mid-1990s, the front-wheel-drive Ford Windstar minivan campaigned with an emphasis on, and reputation for, safety. And in the hotly contested family minivan market of the time, that was an especially solid piece of ground to be on. As long as buyers didn't need to haul adults in back on a regular basis, the Windstar served a family's needs just fine.

Default rough idling

I have a 2003 Windstar with 43,000 miles. Every few days when I start car it runs rough for a little while. Sometimes it runs rough when at a light. Most time runs ok ande never a problem while driving. No codes.Any ideas. 3.8 l engine. I tried injector cleaner. I also notice water or moisture when starting at the tailpipe.

This is normal for all vehicles at the first start up of the day, it is called "Condensation". When hot exhaust meets cold exhaust pipes the effect will be condensation that turns into water and blows out the tail pipe till everything heats up.

I cant believe you have never seen this before.

Default Condensation

Yes I have seen this in most of 40 years of driving. Not to this extreme though. I am thinking maybe my rough idling is moisture in fuel which is causing excess condensation
