Ford Windstar Introduced in the mid-1990s, the front-wheel-drive Ford Windstar minivan campaigned with an emphasis on, and reputation for, safety. And in the hotly contested family minivan market of the time, that was an especially solid piece of ground to be on. As long as buyers didn't need to haul adults in back on a regular basis, the Windstar served a family's needs just fine.

Default Anyone know what this scan code could be?

Check engine light came on the WS. Scanned it via Snap-On Tool Diagnostic and gave a code of: P0161 H02522 Heater Ckt Fault

Anyone have a clue what it could be? I was told it may be the oxygen sensor before the catalytic converter. So I replaced that and cleared the code. Couple hours later after driving it, it popped back on. Same code.

I can't help you with the P0161 code. But you may not have even temporarily fixed the problem with your 02 sensor replacement. An FYI, in case you didn't know: if you disconnect the battery the diagnostic system takes some time (several drive cycles) to reset. So while it looks like you have fixed a problem, it's just the system resetting. Then once reset, any problem codes that still exist pop back up. Also, if your state has mandatory emissions testing based on these damn codes, you will not pass during the resetting phase. If you already know all this, my apologies, please ignore.

I checked those possible affected areas that could relate to the DTC P0161 trouble code and no luck. Replaced the sensor too. Still kicked back on. The scan code said that the bank 2 and sensor 2 as a reference to the P0161. Just want to make sure that this is the same sensor, the one on the back side of the motor just before the cat.
