Ford Windstar Introduced in the mid-1990s, the front-wheel-drive Ford Windstar minivan campaigned with an emphasis on, and reputation for, safety. And in the hotly contested family minivan market of the time, that was an especially solid piece of ground to be on. As long as buyers didn't need to haul adults in back on a regular basis, the Windstar served a family's needs just fine.

Default time for some new sneakers (tires)

i need tires on the wifes Windstar limited. I'm not a fan of tiger paws at all and looking for something different. I would like a nice tread pattern and something that will be quiet going down the road. Also something that won't break the bank.

any recommendations? size is 215/65/16

The Kumho Solus KH16 are $66 a piece at tirerack.com. They are very highly rated there - 3rd in their category - grand touring all-season

The BFGoodrich Traction T/A T are also highly rated and they cost $71. Also third in the standart touring all-season

If you can afford it, the Goodyear Assurance TripleTred are the highest rated all-season tires on Tire Rack. $98

I need to get a new set of tires for my wife's Windstar and several have recommended Kumho as an excellent tire.

I will try to get her a lower profile tire with an excellent rain review.

Any suggestions?

Michelin HydroEdge

The Michelin HydroEdge is the number one rated tire in the wet on Tire Rack followed closely by the Goodyear TripleTred.
