Ford Windstar Introduced in the mid-1990s, the front-wheel-drive Ford Windstar minivan campaigned with an emphasis on, and reputation for, safety. And in the hotly contested family minivan market of the time, that was an especially solid piece of ground to be on. As long as buyers didn't need to haul adults in back on a regular basis, the Windstar served a family's needs just fine.

Default Strange Code?!?!
I have a 98 Windstar GL. A while back, my engine light came on and I couldn't get it to pass smog due to the light. I went to a smog shop who cleared the code and I passed no problem. The next time I shut off and restarted the van, the light came back on. I thought it might be O2 sensors so I replaced all of them, got the code cleared, and still ended up coming back on. The code is P1451. Can anyone tell me what the heck this code is for? Thanx

Have you ever tried to google it? 2 seconds and i found it by just typing in P1451.

OBD Trouble Code: P1451 EVAP Control System Canister Vent Solenoid Circuit Malfunction
