Hey guys/gals a co-worker of mine bought a used 2002 Windstar. He just got it back from the repair shop with his diagnostics. The mech told him he needs to replace the egr valve sensor and both 02 sensors. I can do the 02 sensors no problem but how hard is it to replace the egr sensor?

The DPFE sensor is easier than the O2 sensors. Just follow the vacuum lines from the EGR valve and it will lead you right to the sensor. It's usually mounted near the top of the engine.
