Where is oil pressure sending unit located on 1998 3.8?

Ford Windstar Introduced in the mid-1990s, the front-wheel-drive Ford Windstar minivan campaigned with an emphasis on, and reputation for, safety. And in the hotly contested family minivan market of the time, that was an especially solid piece of ground to be on. As long as buyers didn't need to haul adults in back on a regular basis, the Windstar served a family's needs just fine.

pest44 Junior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Posts: 1	Where is oil pressure sending unit located on 1998 3.8? A friend of mine has a 1998 windstar with the 3.8 in it. Van has 133,000 miles and She recently had the intake and gaskets replaced due to overheating and coolant in oil. Oil now looks good and level is fine; however, the oil light now flickers. I want to hook up a mechanical gauge to check oil pressure, but I cannot find the oil pressure sending unit. The Haynes manual says that it is located near the oil filter, but is hard to see. It seems to be invisible to me. Any help would be appreciated.
