Ford Windstar Introduced in the mid-1990s, the front-wheel-drive Ford Windstar minivan campaigned with an emphasis on, and reputation for, safety. And in the hotly contested family minivan market of the time, that was an especially solid piece of ground to be on. As long as buyers didn't need to haul adults in back on a regular basis, the Windstar served a family's needs just fine.

Default Missing Vacuum Part???
I have a 1999 windstar with a 3.0 engine. Looking at the engine in the front is the EGR sensor. To the left of that is some part of the fuel delivery system with a small tube coming out of the top and curves over towards the EGR sensor.

Where that should come down into something is a vacuum tube coming from the intake manafold that is sucking air. That part is missing and the people at AutoZone have no idea what it is? Nothing in the Haynes manual either?

Any idea what that part is?

Default Temp Fix
I put a generic "L" rubber vacumm tube on it. Solved the problem for now
