Ford ZX2Ford ZX2 offers sporty styling, responsive handling, brisk acceleration, and everyday comfort and practicality for one or two people. Its back seat and trunk are fully usable. Yet the ZX2 is easy on fuel, and costs less than some base-level sedans. Gone is the smooth, grille-less look, replaced by a dark horizontal slash between the headlights.
Mine did the exact same thing before the shift fork broke. After pulling the transmission and having the parts replaced its been good every since. If anything it could be synchronizers as well. If it was a clutch problem it would do it through out most of the gears. If you get the engine at the right RPM you can shift without using the clutch. Which makes me think if it happens every time its more likely something inside the transmission such as a synchronizer.
