Ford ZX2Ford ZX2 offers sporty styling, responsive handling, brisk acceleration, and everyday comfort and practicality for one or two people. Its back seat and trunk are fully usable. Yet the ZX2 is easy on fuel, and costs less than some base-level sedans. Gone is the smooth, grille-less look, replaced by a dark horizontal slash between the headlights.
so my fog lights cig lighter does not work fuses are fine and the fuses are getting juice...i learn electrical next semester in school but im impatient like fog lights work i plugged them in myself with power straight from the battery and tey light up...
The foglights only come on when the headlight low-beams are on. The foglight relay gets power from the low-beam headlights.
The power outlet only gets power when the key is on, turn the key on and test for power then. If no power, remove the cubby and see if the wire fell off the back. That happens sometimes because there isn't much slack in the wires.

Turn the headlights on and then flip the foglight switch on and off. Listen for the relay to click under the dash. It might just be a bad relay. Did you check the smaller fuse box above the square box under the dash? There is a smaller regtangle shaped box (with about 3-5 fuses) above the fuse box. I think this is the one that has the foglight fuse.

That or the 'FOG' fuse in the smaller panel. It could also be the switch itself. Do own and know how to use a volt/ohm meter? I can give you a proceedure for testing the relay and switch.
