Ford ZX2 Ford ZX2 offers sporty styling, responsive handling, brisk acceleration, and everyday comfort and practicality for one or two people. Its back seat and trunk are fully usable. Yet the ZX2 is easy on fuel, and costs less than some base-level sedans. Gone is the smooth, grille-less look, replaced by a dark horizontal slash between the headlights.

Exclamation clutch?

New problem...

It still seems to be shifting fine but my clutch makes a really weird, very loud, squeaking/grinding noise... at only 60 k ? is it still possible it needs to be replaced?

That could be the throw-out bearing. No way to know until the transmission is out.

Sounds like the t/o bearing to me. If it is making that much noise it might have dug into the clutch fingers by now. You might have to replace the pressure plate for that reason alone.
