CD in trunk worke, radio does not after jumpstart...

CD in trunk worke, radio does not after jumpstart...

So, yesterday my 2002 car would not even try to turn over. After a jumpstart, the battery checks out fine. It appears there is corrosion protruding from the negative cable and the jump may have just been a tap on the connection (in effect). Anyway, now I notice that since the jump, my radio won't come on. Pressing the on/off does nothing. The CD is in the trunk and when I press the CD button - it plays fine. Oh yeah, the clock on the display is fine.

Can anyone tell me what I am in for????
