Default Does your ZX2 run hot?
I have a 99 sport and I just put a water pump on it yesterday. The temp gauge always stays just a needle-width before halfway, but when you open the hood it's damn hot under there. I can put my hands all over my Ford Ranger motor and it's not near that hot, but just touchng the valve cover on the ZX2, one could fry and egg on there. Is this normal...I'm running straight coolant in it and the check engine light never comes on.
