 shuttering apon acceleration?
i have a 99' escort zx2, 5 speed. i think their may be a problem in the front end. When i accelerate, the car has a slight shutter and it gets worse, depending on the amount of acceleration. I do not know what is wrong with it, it does NOT do it all the time, and i thought it was the engine cuttin out but my mechanic looked at it and the timing was off, that is fixed now but it is still doin it, i dont think it is the engine cutting out. I was thinking maybe it is the cv joints, but i heared that if it was then they would make a clicking noise all the time. The car doesnt make noise, it just shutters sometimes ONLY when i accelerate. It does it mainly when i really get on, like racing around town and stuff. Well if any one has any advice at all pleace reply, thank you. |
