Ford ZX2Ford ZX2 offers sporty styling, responsive handling, brisk acceleration, and everyday comfort and practicality for one or two people. Its back seat and trunk are fully usable. Yet the ZX2 is easy on fuel, and costs less than some base-level sedans. Gone is the smooth, grille-less look, replaced by a dark horizontal slash between the headlights.
Trying to see if my mechanic is ripping me off. Service engine light came on a few months ago and mechanic said torque converter and he changed it, a few months later it came on again and he said transmission solinoid and he changed it , 2 weeks later again the light came on and he can not figure out. Does check engine light come on for transmission problems? Thanks
i have the same issue, and it happens to be my o2 sensor in my catylist, take your car to autozone and tell them you would like your car to be checked for the check engine light (its free) and to let you be in the know, if the o2 sensor is unplugged shortly or the battery is disconnected it automatically resets the computer and in a few weeks or hours the light will come back on... the guy probabally disconnects your battery during service then plugs it back in and checks for the check engine light and obviously its gonna be gone, take your car/cars elsewhere.
