Ford ZX2 Ford ZX2 offers sporty styling, responsive handling, brisk acceleration, and everyday comfort and practicality for one or two people. Its back seat and trunk are fully usable. Yet the ZX2 is easy on fuel, and costs less than some base-level sedans. Gone is the smooth, grille-less look, replaced by a dark horizontal slash between the headlights.

Default I'm new

What up guys/girls. I'm new here obviously however I'm not new to working on cars and forums. Basically I bought my 99 ZX2 to use as a winter rat. My car that is my spring/summer fun car is a 93' Honda Del sol SI that I have done work to, a ton of work actually. But enough about my fun car let talk about the ZX2 and I.
I'll start about the ZX2 first, I bought it from a local custom shop, apparently it was the owners girlfriend's car.
The BadHis daughter hit the pass. fender so there is a decent sized dent there. However on the driver side it was hit by a deer. So there are small dents down the quoter panel and the an area where the paint was taken off and has started to rust, however not though. Its an auto
The GoodIt has 93,000 miles on hit. It has a new head that was replaced by Ford because it was defective. The radiator was replaced a year ago. The tranny (auto) was serviced last June. Its black with the 6 disc changer, moon roof, a/c...I actually don't know if it has ABS or not because I have not picked the car up yet. It was undercoated at some point and there is no rust other then the spot above mentioned. Thats all I can think of off the top of my head.

So basily what I decided was that I'm going to fix the car up the fender will be extreamly easy, expessially if I can find a black one to swap. The rest I'll most likely bondo then respray. As far as proformance I'll most likely start with I/H/E. Any reccomendations on the previous would be great. Not really looking to make it a super tuner, however I've never been on to leave things alone. I'll also most likely upgrade the sound system, (the sol has custom molded 6.5's Apline Type R's with external tweeters and a Pioneer DEH-P780MP Headunit) The suspension I will most likely leave alone considering it is a winter car and when summer does come around I have two different sets of rims (17" Ruff Racing, 14" Motegi) that I can throw on her. Anyways about me
ME
I'm 19. I'm a student at Lemoyne College. I work 4 jobs and model part time as well. I have had 3 cars previous to the ZX2. Obviously the Del sol, a Lincoln Continental and a Saab 9000 Turbo. That is basically it. I've been working on cars since I was about 14, helping out my father. Anything else get at me guys/girls and I'm sure I'm going to have tons of questions for you guys.
