I have a 98 Taurus that has been erratically overheating lately. The heater has also been changing from hot to cold every couple minutes...I checked the coolant level and it seems to be a the right level... just can't figure out what the deal is. I've been reading various other posts about water pump issues? Something about the heating Coil? Any ideas?
