Default 03 focus blower not working

its my girlfriends car and she told me her blower is not blowing no matter what setting she has it on. i know in my jeep there is a resistor that is prone to going bad. is there a resistor in the focus, if so is it located on the passenger side foot well? i am also going to double check the blower motor by just jumping it. is the blower inside the car or in the engine bay? are there any other known issues to look at to diagnose the problem if its not either of the two stated above?

Check the Fuse F64 (40A) fuse under the hood. If it's blown you need to find the cause.
It could be the blower resistor but if you install a new fuse it may just blow again. The resistor is under the passenger side dash. You will need to remove a panel to see it.
