Default Water pump replacement on 94 Taurus 3.0 ohv ... Help

[b][i]Good morning everyone out in computer land.
I'm new to the site and this is my first post so please excuse any errors that I may make.
I am working on my friends 94 Taurus 3.0 ohv and attempting to replace the water pump. There's one dam bolt that I cannot get out as it is blocked by the tensioner ....
Is there a way to remove or loosen just the tensioner on this thing without getting my finger broken on the spring?
I am trying to do this witout having to remove the power steering pump or the accessory bracket ....
Oh and a service manual would be nice for this thing too if one is available ...
Thanks,
The Doberdood
