I have a 2001 Ford Focus SE 4 Door, owned it for 4 years now, has 114K miles. (35k on new motor...engine blew up at 80K)
The start of the summer the AC was not working well at all, not blowing any cold air. I used a "stop leak can" and freon from AutoZone...my AC blew cold all summer long, worked well.
Starting about 2 weeks ago, when either the AC or the Heat is turned on it will run fine for a minute or two then shut off. When I turn the control off for about 5 mins, then on again, it will run for about 2 mins then shut off again. It does this no matter what temperature it is set on...

If it does not blow on all speeds I would check the connection at the blower motor itself.If it blows on some speeds check the blower resistor under the dash.
