Default 99 E150 ac clutch stays in neutral

Tried my ac today, first 90° day, and the clutch on compressor wont click on. Fan works, heat works, but no ac. Van is white but it's still like a pizza oven in there when it's hot out. I'm not this kind of mechanic so does anyone have any ideas as to what I should check.

Thanks a bunch.

Pobably the thing most people do at first is check the charge on the AC system.

I think my problem is that the compressor is not turning because the clutch won't activate.

Yes, your right...
But if the refrigernat level is too low the high and low pressure switches won't engage.
