| 1992 Tempo GL 3.0 Overheating I have a 1992 Ford Tempo GL 3.0L 4 door.
It is over heating. The coolant hisses out of the place where the top hoes connects to the radiator. I had the system flushed and it worked well for a while. They had trouble getting it to flush but managed to do so. It is doing it again and I have to add coolant often.
What could the problem be?
Thanks |

| Why did they flush the system instead of fixing the hissing leak? If the system is hissing out it's needed pressure, it wont raise the boiling point of the coolant which will cause overheating. Replace the upper radiator hose and clamps if needed and if it's coming from the radiator, throw in a can of Bars Leak Radiator Stop Leak and read the directions... Give the pellets time to work and if all else fails, replace the radiator. |

| I had it flushed just because it was time to do so. I already replaced the upper hose and it is still doing it. Thanks for the advice. |
