Hi I hope I got this thread right. second attempt . I have a E 450 2003 V10 big RV . It has 16 k miles and last week the air conditioner round dash knob stopped working properly .No matter where I position it the air only comes out from the defroster and floor vents
I have air and heat and the compressor will turn on and off but I can not make the air go to the dash vents . the air only goes to the defroster and floor vents simulateously , no other setting works any ideas ? diagrams ?
I have the same problem with my 2000 Ford Focus. Over the last couple of years, the knob would get stuck. By moving it back and forth for a bit I was able to "unstick" it. (always stuck in the defrost/floor position). Yesterday, the knob broke! I spent some time in the junk yard and found 2 new knobs, but the darn thing is REALLY stuck! How do you fix that? My husband was just going to give it spray of good ol WD40, but was advised against it. Any other suggestions?
