I just bought a 1997 ford windstar from a car lot the a/c worked graet two weeks ago, now I turn it on it will blow the 10 amp fuse immediately. I checked the blower switch and replaced the resitor, can any one help?
change heater core and thermostat flush your radiator make sure themostate is out and change rear heater core and check for leaks also check coolant i had the same issue i spent $300 fixing the problem and when replacing thermostate put 180 low temp helps the head gasket from blowing noral 3.0 3.8 l problem
and another thing if u have over 100,000 miles replace the fan assembley those things die like its nothing and thats why most of these vans are in the junk yard

motor OFF, turn the AC pump by hand, it might be seized up.
if you get it to turn, start motor and turn on air (max) you might get lucky.
10 amp fuse? most AC fuses are 25 or 30.
