Ford Windstar Cooling Fans..Please Help

kevcan Junior Member Join Date: Aug 2008 Posts: 1	Ford Windstar Cooling Fans..Please Help ITS HOT IN HOUSTON !!!! PLEASE HELP??? Took my 1999 Windstar to local mechanic because AC not working. He said cooling fan not working and needed to be replaced. I could not afford it and paid him for diagnoses. Next day van overheats after short drive, I call him and he says that apparently both fans are burnt out now. I got fans at junkyard and spent about 4 hours in the hottt Houston sun today exchanging fans. Connections seem ok, fuse ( 15 amp fuse #20 ) appears to be ok but neither fan comes on and engine overheats within about 10 minutes. What else can cause this? Anything that I could check? I was so proud of myself for replacing the fans without hurting myself or any innocent bystanders !!! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Respectfully, Kevin
