96 Ford Probe with Major Leak.....

Hello, my 96 Ford Probe is leaking major anti-freeze and I've been told that the water pump needs replacing. And, it is the labor not the part that will eat up my $. I've tried to hold on to this car another 2 years, but I just can't put any more major $ in to it. Already, transmission, new tires, new muffler, new front end, etc. I just can't do it. BUT, I don't want to just junk the car either. What should I do? Please help me! I love my purple Probe, but it's time to let go I guess......

I'm in Chicago, anyone know where to go?

I'd go to sears and buy some tools. As the car gets older more things will go wrong. The more repairs you do yourself, the less it will cost.

Otherwise, if you don't want to junk it give it to a charity.
