No air? this impact driver should be in every toolbox
Craftsman Impact Driver - Model 47641 at Sears.com
This thing will be your go to tool for stuck fasteners of all types. It is alot better then trying to drag a compressor and air tools out to the boneyard.
If you have a stuck phillips or flat that you can't break loose with hand power alone, leave it and grab this, a couple sprays of pb blaster and a couple whacks with a hammer and this thing will turn that screw right out. Also works with 3/8 drive sockets. I have only met maybe two fasteners that this thing couldn't remove and those ended up needing a bit of torching to remove them.

If you have intermittant running problems or a flat spot/buck/dying/cutting out while accelerating.
Do your self a favor and try some dedicated gas
line dryer, Double or even triple dose it, It's cheaper
then throwing parts at a problem that doesn't throw
codes!!
It works great for getting stripped fasteners out, Flat, phillips, allen and hex. So it doesn't have to fit just right. Can you bring your comp. and air tools with you on the road? at the junkyard?

Sounds like a great alternative to those 12V portable electric impact wrenches... Mine is so slow and annoying (I now carry a breaker bar or that good ol' fashioned X wrench).

I've had one of those for years. Mostly used it on front wheel drive disc brake rotors where they used a screw to hold the rotor to the hub. This tool usually made quick work of breaking loose that screw.
