Hi Electolysisdoc,
I had to change the fuel pump in my 1994 ford ranger (4 cylinder 2.3 L). The fuel pump wire harnass connector plug fell apart. Now I can't tell where the wires connect on the pump. Can you help me ?
I opened the EATC and I see there is one black electrical box which has little bit waxy connector, i am douting on that one. If you say I can get the picture of that partucular box and email it to me. Please help further.
Now the new problem is my AC does not work. Heater still works. As soon as I turn the AC on, i can hear clicking sound on off of clutch which was not there before. I went to mechanic, he checked AC running on compressor using jumper, it did not work. He opened the high pressure cap, pressed the ball with screw driver and gas pressure was enough. He said gas is ok but there might be something blockig inside may be a filter is plugged. He said just keep driving AC may start automatically otherwise it is expensive to find it out. My belief is there is something definitely a electrical problem same like i had in BMSC. I feel a little same smell coming which is definitely from one of the modules but I do not know which one is that. Can you guide me now? If i know the particular electrinic module which is bad i can get that changed and see if AC works.
Hello ElectolysisDoc,
I have Taurus 96 LX and recently I made a mistake in connecting battery which ended me in replacing alternator, then I had the problem in blower fan which was staying at full speed and staying on all the time even when just the iginition is on. I searched a lot and finally figured out that BMSC had gone bad because of wrong battery connection. I got that from the junk yard and changed and it worked. I was getting the burning smell before i changed BMSC, then smell is reduced now after i changed BMSC. When I smelled the old BMSC, it was the same smell from the chemicals/ wax from PCB board.
I am posting another message since the total characters are more than required. Please see the next one.

Thanks for the diagram on my truck. I fell like an idiot, finaly had a day off, cut the grass, drank some beer and went to tear into my dash. I decided to jump the fuses(thankfully) and my radio & dome light turned on. I pulled the fuse and checked for continuity, vertically it worked, horizontally it didn't. Changed the fuse and now I've got tunes.
Ahh I found the actual Signature I used.... "I don't get it why people always expect a old vehicle that breaks down to always be covered under some warranty?"
