My cooling problems started with a broken radiator tank. After fixing it, the cooling fans worked right for about 3 o 4 days, then the engine it started to overheat again but there was no water leaking. I unplugged the ETC connector and both Hi and Lo fans worked at high speed. After one day running like this both 40A and 60A fuses starter tu blow all the time so I though there was a short some where and coneccted the fans directly to the batery. I have placed new fuses today and have they burn again. Probbaly there is a problem with the relays but Iīm new with Ford and cant find them.

    Thanks again
    Pedro

Hi, I saw your post in the Ford forum about the cooling fan problem someone had. I also have a similar problem and I appreciate you have posted a Cooling Fan diagram but where can i find the Constant Controled Relay Modules CCRM?. I belive that my Windstar problem is located in a relay. the fans work good because I have connected them directly to the battery. The ETC is working fine because I have checked the resistance. I disconected the ECT connector and the cooling fans used to work fine both at high speed but now they donīt and the 40A and 60A fuses are burning all the time, this is why I decided to connect them directly to the battery. Please help.

    Thanks

lol sorry i dont have the gauge reading

Can you tell us what the gauge readings are? Most A/C performance problems are related to improper refrigerant levels
