hello FW02, I have a 97 mercury villager, basically the same vehicle minus the skin. have you ever had to work on your power steering?

The driver's side view mirror functioned normally, but the passenger side would only scroll down and in.
I had the inside door panel off because I was troubleshooting my door locks, and I physically removed the switch, took it apart and cleaned it with contact cleaner and a paper towel.
I later discovered that the black plastic insert that goes around the door handle can just be snapped out, and the plastic that holds the window switches and the mirror joystick also snaps out.

Its incredible how far an apology goes in what it says about a man.
