    No, I don't work at any parts stores. I did when I was in college. I do have a commercial account at Advance though. The very best thing to do is to shop online for the best price. Advances' Online Auto Parts and Auto Accessories Store at PartsAmerica.com site actually has list prices lower than the in-store price.

    Anyway, find the lowest prices you can online, and the stores will price-match if you carry in the printout of the online price.

    In browsing the Online Auto Parts and Auto Accessories Store at PartsAmerica.com, I found that if you order online, you can actually get a Motorcraft starter for the same price as their cheap "Paladium" brand. If I were you, that's what I'd buy.
