I have a 2001 taurus ses dohc 3.0 67k miles. Engine light came on. Took it to Auto Zone, they checked the code and it was a bad oxygen sensor, bank 1 sensor 2. So I bought one made by Bosch. Went to my mechanic friend, replaced the "bad ?" sensor and cleared the code. The next day (today) the engine light came back again. Took the care back to Auto Zone, checked if the had sold me the wrong one, but it was not so, they had given me the correct sensor. They attached their computer under the dash and it was the same code!!! Bank one sensor 2 was no good. I have a feeling it must be something else. Any suggestions? I have spent 700 billion dollars so far on this F.O.R.D. Thanks
