first off you need to have your photos hosted by another web site. there are several available, I like to use Photobucket.com its free (thats a good thing) and it always takes any format i upload to it from my PC or camera without any problems.
after you have posted your pics to photobucket and you are ready to insert into a post, open two sessions of internet, one with the forum and one with photobucket.
under each pic shown on photobucket there are 4 options to chose from.

left click on the text in the IMG code window to highlight it, (the text should turn blue)the right click on the highlighted area and left click on copy,
then left click where you want to insert it into the post and click paste.
Peps, you have managed to put photos on the board, can you provide info in regards to the transfer of images from a photo CD?
When I click on the "insert image" icon on this board's toolbar i am asked for a URL. I'm lost and the staff here at the library are in the same boat.

PS - Trying to not "walk" on your postings but sometimes I get a bit too wrapped up in the topic and start to act as if the board is a lecture hall open for discussions.
Bad habit of mine.
Another bad habit is to promise photos before I know for fact they haven't been destroyed by my cats (urine does wonders to negitives) no matter how well I thought the material was protected. (Why would a cat go to a top shelf to... ???)
