Yeah I like riding with my ears in the breeze. My vic is running well I have 250 miles on it and I am going to change the oil and filter this weekend and take a good look at the oil. I have been following you post about your car. You guys are way out of my league now but I have my fingers crossed that is about all of the help I can be.

Hi Matt - I had it at the edge of the cliff, but decided to try one more thing before I pushed it off. According to the service records the muffler bearings had never been greased. I'll bet that was my problem all along!

Seriously though, I spent all Saturday removing the fuel tank in order to get the fuel pump out. I should have a new one in either Monday or Tuesday and then we'll see what happens.

I did not bother swapping my old regulator back in when I realized it could only leak down either through the vacuum port or the fuel return line. I ruled out both, so my new regulator really is new. That leaves the fuel pump leaking pressure down.

I can't believe that the map sensor and the fuel pump went bad immediately after I got done wrenching on the injectors. Not only that, but my new TPS was not calibrated properly at the factory - and it is non-adjustable!

How is your vic running? I see by your Avatar why you like driving with the windows down.

Did you work on the 89 all day yesterday or did you push it over a cliff. Matt
