hello again, i talked to you about futura tail lights last month, guy on here "grimace" was going to sell me whole car for $200 but renegged the day before i was going to look at it, anyway my question is, will 1984 ltdII tail lights fit a futura?, i've been hearing this rumor alot and wanted to see if there is any truth to it, and if you've heard it also, if so i know where 2 ltd's are, thanks
yeah i know where a 81' futura is with good tail lights and have been pursuing it for 2 years, but its the usaul story, they would rather let it sit and rust away instead of selling it, her nephew allready shot the tear drop side window out with a bb gun, maybe i need to up my offer to $500 next time i'm up that way, & she wont ever tell me yes or no just leave your # and then they never call.
hey how are you my friend ? how the build going ? i have just been saveing and tkaeing out a little at a time i got the 3.08 rear axel painted flat black/ grabber yellow. new brake lines. exhaust mounted up. and the interior is you of the car for a upgrade and repaint. new carpet, leather head liner, new front seats, and misc parts and new gauges under the dash. i have also decided to go carb insted of EFI. i am just trying to find parts like the 2v or 4v intake and carb, c4 302 bell houseing and torqe convertor, headers, and some other stuff. body work wil start soon i am planing on no side chrome and hot rod black paint. mabye primer gray raceing stripes with a couple coats of clear just on the stripes just to make them stand out from the black. haha sorry that was like a half page message man.
Do you know of a company that makes a steering shaft that goes from the steering column poking out of the firewall down to the rack? I am using the factory 81 fairmont steering wheel/column, but using a 99 mustang rack. The stock fairmont rod is too long. I made one that fits and functions properly out of parts from the fairmont one, and the 99 mustang one. Just wondering if anyone makes something like this??
Thanks
Tim
