Well how are the '57 lil Birds doing?
Do I need to come get them outta your way yet? =o)

I have NO ideal what to tell you "Fast75".
I can say these Birds are worth more & will hold their value better in their original state.
What is interresting is that you say they have 14" wheels & tires on them now, I'm almost 95% sure all 1955-57 T-Birds came with 15" steel wheels from the factory!!! The 14" wheels were introduced on the Thunderbird in 1958-64. I don't see how the factory hub caps would even fit on those 2 little Birds you have if they have 15" wheels on them now!!!

My memory has been reconfigured! The 1957 T-Birds went back the 14" wheel, ALL 1955-56 Birds had the 15" wheel....

hey buddy, the wife's uncle is wanting to go with bigger wheels on the 57 birds. he wants to get away from the original 14's because of the hassle of getting the tires for them anymore. i'm thinking of some torque thrusts or something similar but not sure of size. do i go 15's, 16's or even up to 18's??? and width's? i'm wanting to stay away from any turning issues, rubbing, bottoming out. just wanting something that will tuck in there nicely and look good too. if you could give me some tire and wheel sizes i'd appreciate it......thanks..........Fast75.........oh, by the way. i saw those links you posted on tires and wheels. those wheels on the blue one look great. it gave no info on wheel and tire size tho..................
