Default 2008 Ford Escape

Hey guys, hopefully somebody out there can give me a hand. I'm upfitting several 2008 Ford Escapes to be used as security, and have come to a road block. I've got to remove the passenger front seat permanently for weapon placement, and in doing so, the air bag light stays on.... for two obvious reasons. One, the sensor in the front seat remains disconnected, and two, there is a side curtain airbag in the seat that, of course, is removed. Is there any way to bypass this harness to get the light to go off so the other air bags work properly? Any ideas??

I've not tried anything like that, but I would get in contact with Ford for technical help with that problem. You may void your warranty by removing the components to the SRS system. As for as trying to bypass the sensor and the airbag, you would have to know the exact information that the sensor or airbag sends to the control module in order to duplicate. If not correct you will still have the light on in the dash. Just suggestion
