Default new guy

I'm a new guy. I have a 2000 ZX-2, recently purchased. It idles at 1200 RPM. Anyone have a clue where to start? I've changed the oil and filter, air filter, and found a vaccuum leak at the PCV, which I repaired with new hose. I removed the PCValve and cleaned it and it's grommet and then reinstalled.

This is my first car and I expect to learn alot by maintaining it / repairing it. Also, where can I purchase the rubbber seal around the passenger door? Do I need to go to a dealer?

Any other stuff I should be aware of? The car has 95K miles and runs just fine except for the idle speed. All the switches and buttons work. Automatic transmission... A/C blows cold... Heat is hot and defroster works... has power windows and locks, moon roof, CD changer in truck area that needs a cartridge... It is clean and straight inside and out. Good tires with 50% wear left on them...

Welcome to the forum. I would guess that the seal for the door is going to be dealer, but check around any way. Check for build up around the throttle plate. If it has not bben cleaned before that may be a possibility. Also check to see if the throttle stop screw is causing the idle to remain high. It shouldn't unless some one has changed it.
