2004 f250 6L powerstroke overheats

Hi,

I have been driving and working on Fords for years but this is my first time at a forum.

I have a 2004 F250 6L Powerstroke that occassionally overheats. I have checked the thermostats and Radiator for cleanliness.

I can be pulling a load for maybe 100 or 200 miles with everything being fine and then all of sudden the engine starts overheating and will actually boil the water out. then the problem is gone as quick as it starts.

Any one have a similular problems?
