Need help with 1995 T-bird sound system

Ok, here we go. I'm new to this. Just bought a 95 T-bird Super Coupe. The factory cd player had no power, nothing. Have installed 3 different cd players and I know I am getting reception because my equalizer is moving on the main screen. My problem is no sound. Not even a crackle, nothing. I have double checked the fuses, wiring, speakers, everything and I am stumped. Can anyone help me out?

Oh, sidenote...the factory cd player was very hot when I removed it if that helps any.

Does it have factory premium sound?

Yes Factory Premium sound and auto antenna if that helps but there is no power to the antenna either. Here's another thing, when I read the owners manual, it mentions something about a safety feature to protect the factory system if it gets to hot. I am thinking that is the problem but I call Ford in Little Rock and NO ONE in the service dept knows what the hell I am talking about. I am thinking there is some sort of fuse or reset button for when this happens but I have yet to find it! I'm starting to really get pissed that I can't figure this out!
