Blinking Overdrive Light

c094650 Junior Member Join Date: May 2008 Posts: 1	Blinking Overdrive Light I have a 1996 Ford Windstar 3.8 engine. Just had the water pump, timming chain and timming gear replaced. Put 50 miles on the car with no problems. Took the car to "TEST ONLY" smog station here in Long Beach, Ca. It past the smog test. On the way home the overdrive light on the end of the gear shift started blinking. Did not seem to effect the performance of the car or transmission. After the car was parked at home for about 1 hour, I left for work and the light did not start blinking right away. Took about 1 minute of driving before it stated blinking. Any ideas of what is wrong? Waiting
