Has anyone been told not to use Champion plugs in their Aspire? I recently had my '97 Aspire in to have the timing belt replaced. The engine was running a little rough while idling (ok, a lot rough) so the mechanic checked the plugs and found one that was misfiring badly. I had put Champions in about a year ago myself. The mechanic told me that Champions are basically good for Chryslers only and that I should be using NGKs. I was a little skeptical until someone else, not associated with the garage, saw the Champions and made the same remark..without any prompting from the mechanic. We put 4 new NGKs in and it cleared the problem up nicely.
