2001 F-250 water pump I'm changing my water pump, and having trouble pulling the fan assembly from the old pump. It is a 7.3 L and I was able to get the four bolts to the pully but can't get the shaft off. Any tips besides left hand threads.

you need a holder that hokes onto the 4 bolts and another one on the fan (the fan is threaded onto the waterpump) sometimes they are very tight and may be left hand theard.

Thanks, I got it. With a single serpentine belt the threads are right threaded. FYI
