1967 Galaxie 500 fuel filter?

i have the fuel filter off the back end of the car located by the fuel tank and its a fram brand and i need to replace it but i don't need to replace the whole thing just the filter inside. Does anyone know where i can just buy the filter inside and not the whole thing?

Sounds to me like it is an aftermarket add on filter. Is it a narrow glass tube with chrome ends? If so , the ends unscrew from the center pipe and the metal screen inside is cleanable. Haven't seen one of these in years but used to buy them from NAPA, good luck

Hey rileychad no one but me I guess even listined to what you wrote. If you go to napa and tell them you need a fuel pump filter for a 64 ford 289 you will the right one g/l Tony

I think the part# for the filter you need is cg20 or g3 g/l Tony
