| Another new one. I ran across this forum while I was trying to get information my '49 F-1 and and my wifes Mercury Sable. Hopefully I can get the info I need to get them on the road.
I locked up the engine on the F-1 about 25 years back and it has been sitting since. Now I would like to get it back on the road but I am on a fixed income and live 20 miles from town so with the price of gasoline these days I need to make it economical. I have a complete drive train from an '86 F-150 I am thinking of putting in it. I would appreciate as much advice and opinions as I can get on this.
My wifes '92 Sable has a bad transmission and I would also appreciate information on where I can get another transmission for it in the central Texas area.
Any and all information and advise will be greatly appreciated. |
