Default New Member: 2000 Expedition Skipping but NO Codes???

Vehicle:2000 Expedition 4.6L V8/200200 miles

Please help: While at idle my exp runs top notch. Scanner indicates nothing was wrong. I ask a friend to connect his scanner while driving.

No codes were indicated but it showed the car was "skipping". (the same thing I'm talking about that lead me here in the first place). He thinks that a coil or plug may be the problem.

My question: Is there a certain plug or coil I should look for that causes the problem indicated and How can I test for the right one?

I have tried everything I know to get to this point; any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Synyster

Check the rear plug on the drivers side - might have liquid in the well, causing the plug to misfire.
