Default 1995 ford taurus idles high in park

my taurus seems to idle very high in park but in netual it idles fine. i have to go into "N" before i shift or it clunks bad.

I have nothing to do with these methods, I'm not knowledgeable on auto repair, and can't vouch for them, so take this advice at your own risk.

Hmmm that is interesting... I didn't follow the links, but you may also want to look up info regarding your Transmission Range Sensor TRS
