mjccameron Junior Member Join Date: Aug 2008 Posts: 1	hello new to the forums hi im new to the forums. i have never owned a front wheel drive until now.my wife was driving our 05 taurus wagon when with no warning at all she made a curve and went to accelerate but all that happened was the rpms shot up with no gears at all. upon further inspection there were no gears at all including reverse. as i said there was no warning at all. no clumps noises anything. i have had quit a bit of experience with trans. problems but all in rear wheel drive but have never seen on lose all gears including reverse and with no warning, slipping, noises or anything else can someone please help?
