I lost my one and only ignition key to my 2000 ford taurus. My car is stuck in a parking lot, until I get one. The dealership wants me to tow it there and I'm sure it will cost a fortune. Is there a site or somewhere else to get a programmed key?
Yep a Locksmith also will make a trip to your car cheaper than a dealer tow. Make sure you have proof of ownership of said vehicle or they will not help you.

If your Exhaust tip is bigger than your cylinder bore, you are a Ricer!
There is something you could try with a dummy key.Turn the key on and jump the solenoid on the starter. The tranny guy thinks the taurus system was just a starter cut out.Its wortha try.
